A Day at the Polish Fair

For the past 2 weeks in town we have had a fair/carnival here in town.  Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated for us to make it the city center to enjoy it but yesterday FINALLY the weather was GREAT so right after the girls swimming lessons I decided to stop the car and head down there for an hour since the hubby had to work all day.

There is not much difference between the US and Polish Fairs.  Lots of rides, lots games that you cannot win and lots of food!

Oh the ride I hate, roller coasters. But my little one wanted to ride it so I went. I hated every minute but the girls LOVED every minute!

Knock the cans over game that once again is next to impossible to win!

Every fun event like this so far that we have been to here in Poland has at least one person selling lollies!

Kiddies rides. But the girls told they are big kids now so they cannot ride them anymore.

I remember riding this back in ND at the state fair and getting super sick every time I did it but I kept on going back for more!

The haunted house roller coaster. This is the ride that one of the girls wanted to go on. Not much to it and kind of corny but the girls had a fun!

Bumper cars!

Not sure what this ride is called but there is no way you will get me on it. Remember the kiddie ride that swung you around? Well this one went 60 meters up in the air. CRAZY!!

Finally to the top! What a view they must have had.

The girls each got their one ride so it was finally time to head home.  The weather was nice enough that a scoop of ice cream was called for on the way out.  As we were getting them we ran into 2 different families that the girls go to school with so we all a quick scoop and chatted with them which made the day even better!

Days like this make me home sick for the big North Dakota State Fair that I use to go to growing up as a kid.

What is your favorite carnival ride?  Mine, roller coasters where your feet dangle.
