A Visit to…Henry’s Polish Pottery in Boleslawiec, Poland

You can never shop at to many Polish pottery stores, right?  Here is another one that needs to be on your bucket list when shopping in Boleslawiec!

Henry’s is a great store that offer’s a GREAT selection and unique patterns and dishes. BUT not only do they have pottery they have a GREAT selection of wicker baskets!

Hi Ho Hi Ho’s, off to Henry’s we go!! It is with in a 3 minute walk of 2 other stores which I will blogging about soon.

The outside of the store. Wouldn’t this be neat in front of your house?

One of their rooms. It is sorted by dish type so you have to dig just a bit if you are looking for a certain pattern.

One of the rooms upstairs which is full of BEAUTIFUL wicker baskets!!! They very reasonably priced.

The other room upstairs full of casserole dishes.

The staircase going upstairs which is lined with step stools. If you want a step stool this is the store to get one!

Aren’t these neat tea sets cute?

Here is the main room. If you go way to the back that where they do their mark down. And also back there is cute kid play tea sets.  If you want a tea set this is the store to get them. On the left is the check out, they usually have 2 people working so checking out is pretty quick here.

Now if you are dragging your husband along where I took the last picture they have a couch for them to take a break at.

Now how are prices here?  Well they are a bit pricey compared to other stores but it is because most are unikat.

Once again like all the other stores they take zlotys, US and credit cards.

There is great parking for your cars inside their fence.

The address is ul. Masarska 1, 59- 700 Bolesławiec.  Which is just one block from Manufaktura Pottery Outlet.

Their hours when we were there were Mo- Fr 9 am – 5 pm, Sat 9 am – 5 pm

I especially love that Unikat pottery. I can’t imagine putting those pieces outside and risking breakage though. I am asking Elder Bokinsky to have a piece shipped home while he is in Bydgoszcz. I am displaying the pieces over my kitchen cabinets.

    • Leah,

I talked to your son today! Look through my previous posts and if you see any patterns or designs you like let me know as I am heading to the pottery region in April again and I can get some for you there even cheaper then what he pays here.

Thanks Kelley. I am really not particular about patterns as I only have one…It is all tiny blue dots. I love greens. I want a large piece…like a covered casserole or a teapot. I am displaying them over my kitchen cabinets. I love it all.

This is one of my two favorite stores. They have a huge selection of traditional pottery downstairs and a bunch of beautiful baskets, stools with pottery seats and other goodies. I bought a unique egg holder for a friend here and a beautiful vase for myself. I would definitely put this place on my list for a return visit because of the variety, quality and uniqueness of their items.

I’m in Boleslawiec and will be leaving Sunday August 18. I have been looking for the cornflower patterns from Ceramika Artystyczna which I thought that Henrys made it but I have not found it yet. Do you know a place I might find it? I don’t want to leave without something from here.. Thank you!!

We ate at a Restsurant across the street from here and it was delicious. Lots of food and super cheap. The Perogies (we had the spinach, potato n onion), mixed green sale and potato pancakes were superb.

  6. Is there a way to purchase two(2) matching step stools and have them shipped to US?
