American Pizza in Poland?

Our pizza party for the church youth group the other day!

My family and I are huge pizza fans, we LOVE pizza!!  And just like any other  country there are lots of pizza restaurants here in Poland to choose from.

What I find the most fun when going into different pizza places here is what they consider American pizza!

Here is the America pizza list according to a local pizza restaurant,

Jadlo Biskupinek

California (sauce, cheese, salami, bacon, leek, egg)

Chicago (sauce, cheese, ham, white and red onions, mushrooms)

Dakota (sauce, cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, pineapple, red pepper)

Colorado (sauce, cheese, polish sausage, bacon, onion, chilli peppers)

Oregon (sauce, cheese, ground meat, onion, tomato, egg)

Minnesota (sauce, cheese, Tabasco sauce, sausage, chili, pepper, cucumber)

Texas (barbecue sauce, cheese, pork kebab, bacon, onion)

Oklahoma (garlic sauce, cheese, bacon, chanterelles mushroom, onion, mushrooms, cream)

Arizona (sauce, cheese, mushrooms, onions, pineapple, black olives, green olives

Do these not sound interesting? I have a feeling in the near future we will have to eat dinner there to try one of these pizza’s!

Which one of these pizza’s should we try first?

love kelley

Love your blog! I have Polish ancestors so it’s nice to see some postings from Poland. :) As an American in California, I can tell you there wouldn’t be leeks or egg on a pizza (unless for the egg it was a “breakfast” pizza). Typically pepperoni, sausage and cheese seems to be the top sellers here. But we like to get ones with an Alfredo sauce or bbq sauce base instead of the tomato base and things like ham and pineapple or garlic and mushrooms on the Alfredo base one. Interesting to see what is on the menu over there – thanks!
    :)
