It is carnival time here in Poland, so that means “What another party?”
YEP!!! While Halloween may not be very popular here in Poland but Carnival sure is so this is when it is time to dress up and have fun with friends. So last Friday afternoon and Saturday morning the girls went to 2 carnival parties at their school, Sokrates.
Grades 2 – 5 were having fun at their carnival party!
My little hula girl!
LOVE the paper dance game. Here 2 kids from each of the different classes went up against each other.
Grades 0-1 did their party the next day in the school gym. As you can see they have a wee bit of fun too.
Here one of the teachers was shouting out different parts of the body for the partners should touch each other with and dance the next part of the song like that.
This looks like a hip and happening party, doesn’t?
“A” dressed up as a fairy with a few of her other classmates and her Polish teacher dancing away.
Boys are boys no matter where you live. Sitting off to the side at a school dance.
A fun drawing contest for the best teddy bear of sorts.
The kind of sort of group shoot of the 0-1 grade party. Trying to round that many kids is a bit tricky.
Time to take a break from dancing make some bracelets and necklaces.
“E” talking to one of the other grade 3 teachers. That girls amazes me with her Polish talking skills now.
But yet inside the gym the party still continues. “E’ dancing with the school secretary.
Who doesn’t like a game of musical chairs?
“A’ taking a breaking having a quick chat with her teacher.
I think each of the girls had a fun time at their parties!
If you could dress up for Carnival/Halloween what would it be? I would love to dress up as Chiquita banana girl!
