Counting my blessings!

Another day of living here in Poland when I am counting my blessings for everything I have!

First up was  a Christmas play at the local orphanage for supports of the orphanage which was done by the kids. Then this afternoon headed out delivering kitchen cupboards to a local family that has none in their house for one of my favorite charities,  Szlachetna Paczka.

This guy was so excited to me sitting with my friend throughout the play.

We got special goodies made by the kids to say "Thanks."

This was my buddy today. I can't show you his face but he was so cute as he hung out with me the entire I was there and would not leave me. I can't wait until my husband's work contract gets renewed so we can possibly start the adoption process. Love this kid! He picked out my favorite candy that the city Vice President was handing out to all kids and he wanted to share one with me.

Then it was time for a quick tea time hosted by the staff for us. The cakes looked amazing but so not on my diet but I thought of the kids and of course I ate one!

I really hate this time of the year! it is only 16:30 and it is this dark already. It made delivering these cupboards a bit trickier with the rocky path.

Did you know you could fit an average amount of Polish kitchen cupboards in a minivan? You do now! I was like a big jigsaw puzzle but we figured it out.

Can you imagine heating your water and house up with this?

Today was totally a humbling experience!

With the holiday season right around the corner, what acts of charity have you done to help spread some holiday cheer to those less fortunate than you?

Yay for humbling experiences for missionaries! They need to see how most of the world lives. I am thrilled that you have included them this Christmas season. We always do an act of service as a family at the holidays, but we are so new and modern here in America. I can’t wait to hear about all of these experiences. Just so you know, Ty was moved to tears the day he left from helping the two girls take packages to a family. He said it was so humbling. I love it. Spreading good love and cheer! That’s what it’s all about.
