You are not going to believe what I found grocery shopping today?
Yep, that is gingerbread cookie dough time!
Does life get any better than this? Yes, if I was not on my diet so I could just eat the package.
The Polish like their gingerbread cookies or as they call it “peirniki.” I am finding more and more “American” type food here, yeah!
Are you are raw cookie dough person? One of my weaknesses is chocolate chip cookie dough!

Funny timing…earlier today I nibbled on some gingerbread we bought in Torun.
To answer your question, I like cookie dough, either before or after baking, and I have the body to prove it.
Scott,
You and I sound a lot a like!!!
I left Poland 9 years ago and have lived in Ireland since then. The ciasto na pierniki is a kind of surprise for me
But maybe there is still a chance you would like to make them from the scratch. This is the recipe I posted on my blog a year ago. It really is easy. http://www.hugoandmathilda.blogspot.ie/2012/12/the-disappearing-gingerbread-cookies.html
Good luck!
No worries about me cheating and not making them from scratch! Christmas cookie making is a big family tradition in my house now and when I was kid and gingerbread cookies were always one of the first ones we cooked!
