Halloween party time

So last week was a crazy week for several reasons which I will be blogging about this week but one of the reasons was for Halloween!  No, Halloween is not celebrated like we do in the US but I saw in several stores a few Halloween items so it is known here some but in our house it means Halloween party time!  One of the perks living in another country is getting to share our traditions with friends from other countries.  So like last year we invited a few friends from different countries so they could partake in this tradition that they have only seen on TV.

Putting the final touches on the food before everyone arrives. I think I will have party queens by the time they grow up.

Candy bowl is ready for trick-or-treats! I was told a head of time to be prepared for some kids and sure enough we did get some.

Remember that auction I did a week ago? Here is one of the items I won, a lace dollie made by a lovely lady from Albania!

This was a bit more complicated then I thought it would be but the kids figured it out in no time and where telling me how to do it.

I think everyone had a good time and yes, all the kids left with a nice sugar high!

Now I guess it is time to start planning the next party, Thanksgiving dinner.

So what is your favorite holiday of the year?  Me, I love the Christmas season!
