Hi Ho Hi Ho Off to School We Go

It is hard to believe that only in the 1st grade “A” as of this week has attended 3 different school buildings in her short education span.  Crazy huh?  But this 3rd school building is worth it!  The school that my youngest go to here in Bydgoszcz has out grown their school building, so they moved into a new building last week.  They told us parents back in September that they were looking at moving into this building later this school.  The other international school that my girls attended last school year, also told us that they are moving into a new building right when we moved here 2.5 years ago but still has yet to move and according to the rumor mill it is still at least a year and half away.  So, was I holding my breath that this school was going to move any faster? NOPE!!

But according the school’s plan they were 3 weeks behind in moving but within the same school year we are in the new building and let me tell you it is AMAZING!  They have several new classrooms in this building to get ready for few more classrooms they are adding next year with the new all English Cambridge International Program.

I am really excited for the new school building and all the fun it is going to be bring to the girls education over the next few years we are living here!  The girls have come home excited everyday this week and with lots of stories from the new building.

They have just shy of 2 weeks left of school before summer vacation begins, so I am sure there will many more stories before the end of the school year.

What favorite end of the school year activity? I loved all the parties.

love kelley
