Today “A” and I headed over to the zoo in town for a sheep shearing demonstration they were doing with the sheep they have in the zoo. Since we were all ready at the zoo, we walked around for bit even though the weather is a bit on the cold side today.
The animals where in a good mood today, so I got some fun pictures of them!
These birds can be noisy.
I LOVE this picture!
Even with the feathers down they are still beautiful.
This cat looks like it would be super soft but I am not sure if I would want to put my hand in the cage to find out.
I loved watching these birds fly when we were back in US when we were up in the mountains of Montana.
What 2 sets of horns?
These birds are wonderful to watch.
This looks like they are doing the walk of shame.
I don’t think I have ever seen an albino deer before.
I get memorized watching beaver’s too!
Why are they so darn cute?
I would love to have my own zoo just to have a colony of these guys.
Not sue if I should feel guilty looking at them and thinking what a good roast that would make for dinner.
I love to watch the moose too. It reminds me of a summer I spent canoeing in the upper north of Canada when I was a kid.
This how I look when I wake up in the morning some times.
Buffalo’s have to be one of the most beautiful animals out there!
Looks so serious.
Wonder how many eggs are under there?
So besides getting some great shoots of the animals today I got this great shoot too of “A”
“A” and her new friend!
Yep, she is just like her mother and can make friends anywhere!
This friendship started with the 2 of them talking right here at this moment. Who would imagine this would lead to the next 2 hours of them just talking and playing with each other non-stop?
And so it begins, a great friendship. Yet another reason putting them in a Polish school and learning Polish is a blessing to us. It has opened more doors for my girls than I can count.
“A” showing her new friend where all of her family is all over the world. Her friend said she had only been to one country in her life, Poland. It is interesting how I can having family and travel all over the world for granted.
It is AMAZING how quickly kids can become friends!
Yep, 2 peas in a pod they were today together.
Not sure who was having more fun here, them or the kangaroo.
Her new friend was there with her mom too, so needless to say by the end of those 2 hours together she and I became friends too. Yes, we had a bit of language barrier between the 2 of us, we still managed to have some neat conversations. We exchanged numbers to try to connect up again as we had that much fun with them!
And all good things must come to an end and say “Good-Bye.”
What your favorite animal to watch?
