Our Final Walk

Our Final Walk

Looking for some frogs.

Looking for some frogs.

I have mentioned before in the past couple of weeks that we are moving to a new house here in Bydgoszcz.  Well yesterday was our final day in our old house and so that meant our final walk with our dog in our favorite field just down the street from the house.

So since it was the final walk, I thought I would take a few pictures to show you why I loved taking the dog for a walk there, along with just general family walks in that area.

The wide open field.

Oh, I am going to miss this dirt

Loving the poppies being in bloom.

I am going to miss this view too. Reminds me of my days of living in Panama and living right next to the Panama canal and then again living in The Netherlands and all the lovely canals there.

My little piece of heaven here in Bydgoszcz!

We would hang out on this and sit back and enjoy the scenery.

You can’t see my right?

I love walking along the canal and seeing all the men fishing. In the last year and half I have yet to see someone catch something but if they keep fishing there, something must be caught.

I have always wondered what history this tree could tell me.

This is on the tree not sure what it means, so if you know what it means please let me know!

It has been one day and I already miss it but hey, that is life right?  Now we just have to walk around our new neighborhood and find some more fields like this!

Do you have a favorite place to walk?  Me, I just showed you mine.

I like this place. My parents have there… garden (plot?) allotment – I do not know what it’s called in English. But you probably know what I mean. On the field, often early in the morning fog rises. I love it!
As for the tree, it is a natural monument. Protected by law. Old. You can read about natural monument here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_monument
