Primo Ice Cream Time

The other day I took “E” and a friend of hers to one of the BEST ice cream places here in Bydgoszcz, Cafe Primo.

The locals here in town all say this is the place to go for ice cream but living here now for 2 full summers we had yet to eat there.  But I am proud to say, I have finally had some of this famous ice cream and now know I know why everyone says this is the best place in Bydgoszcz to get ice cream.  Cafe Primo is only open during the late spring and summer, so you have to get while you can.

Woo hoo, there is no line today! It is not uncommon to see a line 15+ people long to get some ice cream. We got lucky today!

You just never know what kind of ice cream they are going to have that day, Baskin Robbin ice cream it is not for choices but I have never been disappointed yet for choices.

Of course I had to have a scoop too! I had the most AMAZING dacquoise type ice cream.

"E" and her friend found the perfect spot next to the pond in the part to enjoy their ice cream.

While the girls where busy talking Polish to each other(I still can’t believe my daughter is speaking fluent Polish!) I took a quick walk through the park that is right next to Cafe Primo.

I have come to the conclusion that I need become fluent in Polish so I can be come a Realtor here. Does this not look interesting to see what what the inside looks like.

I am not going tell you how many times we have stopped to have Primo ice cream time but LOTS the past couple of weeks!

They charge 3 zloty($1) a scoop so they are an awesome deal.   If are in the Bydgoszcz area head down to Gdanska 18 (the little alleyway next to the hotel), I HIGHLY recommend Cafe Primo not only for their great ice cream but also they were one of my biggest supports for the auction I did for the local orphanage last month. THANK YOU!!

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?  I L-O-V-E cookie dough!!!

love kelley

Wow, excellent ice cream that’s really cheap and served by friendly employees who are cute, too?

    Is this heaven, or what?

  2. Yum! My favorite flavor of i.c. depends on my mood, but tiramisu, salted caramel, chocolate-mint and pistachio rank pretty high! :-)

The ice cream looks delicious! Ice cream like that out here is very expensive. I may need to move to Poland haha

What a nice little shop. I like the way they display the ice cream.
