A Quick Visit to Hungary

It was that time of the month where a bunch of the wives from my husband’s job get together to learn each others home country as I have mentioned before.

The other day this month the wives from Hungary hosted the activity. ¬†As I have never been to Hungary yet nor have they hosted in the past, so it was fun to learn about this country. Like a fun fact did you know floppy disks were invented there in 1973? I didn’t!

Like always there was lots food which always the highlight for these mornings and today was no disappointment!

Not sure exactly what this was but it was like jello and pudding mixed.

These bars were AMAZING!! Not sure what they all made of beside peach jam and chocolate. I have the recipe coming to me so I will be excited to try to make these at home.

Expat in a country

Another fun morning with a GREAT group of ladies!

I still have a hard time putting my head around the fact that a girl from a small town in the middle of North Dakota is getting to experience things like this!

Hopefully one day I will get to experience Hungary in person.

What is one country you have always dreamed of visiting? Me, anywhere in Asia.
