Spring has Sprung in Poland

I think winter is officially gone (at least I am hoping so) and spring has sprung in Poland.

As there was plenty to do inside my house got chores, it was just too nice to do anything inside.

First stop, a local floral shop. OK, it is not a per say a store but a road side stand thing but I love the couple that grow these flowers even they don’t speak a bit of English and my Polish is really bad, we still manage to communicate with each other.

Oh, where to start?

Oh, where to start?

I LOVE spring flowers.

I LOVE spring flowers.

My favorites.

My favorites.

Looks like I will be getting my fingernails dirty when I get home to plant these. Go HERE to last years blog post how I did these baskets.

We finally have our flowers.

We finally have our flowers.

We even stopped for ice cream after school today.

We even stopped for ice cream after getting the flowers and stood outside eating it as it was that nice out.

Time to get the shorts out! Unfortunately, there is rain in the forecast for the next couple of days.

Even the ladybugs are out.

I need to get off this blog post and enjoy the last 2 hours of sunlight and warm weather while I can today!

What is your favorite spring time flower?

love kelley

Ok..its not related to this post but I have a massive question that I am intrigued about. We are similar religiously with regards to this country. I believe in science and fact and thus am an outsider in this strictly catholic country. Yourself, as a morman, are an even larger minority globally than someone with my beliefs. Mormanisn is considered a bit” out there” in the world but here…wooo. My beliefs are accepted by the majority of sane people. I struggle to cope with their beliefs, they believe you are a cult. ( i will be honest, as do I but i am more forgiving than most, you are not hurting me so it is whatever) How the heck do you cope with your minority beliefs here?

Here is the phone number to the mormon missionaries that live in Katowice: 665-300-836.
They would be more than willing to answer any of your questions!!! :-)

Your comment is very interesting. I’ll try to give you simple answer. The real name of the so called Mormon church. The real name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That has always been the name of the church because we believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. If I wanted to know about a Chevrolet car, I would not go to a Ford dealer and ask questions. If you really want to know about what makes our church so different, then ask someone from our church. You can go to mormon.org and get some information but try calling one of our representatives that we left with you. Thanks for asking.

Thank you Sister, I will have a good read. I am especially interested in comparing your Church with the Church here.
