It is that time of year again when I really start getting into the holiday spirit and what can I do help others spread holiday cheer to others.
Last year one of my blogs readers, Andrzej introduced me to a WONDERFUL charity here in Poland called SZLACHETNA PACZKA (Noble Box). I am sure you have figured out by now I love to volunteer to help those in need no matter what the circumstances. The Lord has blessed me and my family in more ways that I can ever say so the least we can do is to help those that need a little help.
Szlachetna Paczka this time of year finds families throughout Poland that need food, clothing and other small items that will help them. Families or companies can go to their website and look at families in their local area that need help. Then we can pick a family or a couple of families that you would like to “adopt.” Then when you see what they would like then you start filling boxes and realizing how much we take for granted like having milk for cereal in the morning.
Last year we adopted 2 families along with 2 other friends of mine and now it is that time of year again to adopt a families for this charity! So if you are a reader in the Poland area, I would like to make a plea to you, a group of friends or your employer to adopt a family this year. This year there are 6,820 families that need adopting. So far 7,630 families have been adopted already so that mean 1,190 still need to be adopted.

Here are few pictures from last year’s big weekend.
I have convinced you to “adopt” a family? I hope so! Click HERE to go to the list to see what families are in need in your local area. Now if you are not in Poland but would still like to support this charity, no worries! I have a set-up a GoFundMe site where you can donate money where you will use the money to purchase items for adopted families. A donation of $100 for example will purchase over 120 liters of milk! I even have a few surprise to those that donate through my donation page!
How do you like to spread holiday cheer to others?
