A thankful night

The other week a dear friend (aka one of my partner’s in crime here in Bydgoszcz) and I were invited to one of the local charities we helped fund raise for last year, “Salas Homini.”

Last year the women’s club that I was president for we worked with them for a charity auction.  Like most of the charities that I have helped with here in Poland they do some sort of event to thank donors and support of theirs. So the other night they gave a presentation of how they got money, what they money was spent on and what activities they did with their participants.

Before this night I knew they were a great charity doing great work but to see it in pictures well, it just provided me right!

What a great group of people that both work and volunteer for this organization are.

Looked like we were one of the biggest supporters this year!

Yep, our hard work fundraising for them paid off.

No idea what this said!

No idea what this said like most the other slides but good thing my friend reads Polish so she could quick translate for me!

One of the activities they do with the kids is doing this clay animation video thing. So they made a few video's for us to watch.

Does this picture not look fun?

One of the few words I understood during presentation!

Even the local "biker" group is involved with supporting this charity!

It was another night that showed me how good life can be to me and others. I definitely had a thankful night!

What charity to help out with and why?
