Time to cook….Cinnamon Roll Cake

For those that really know me I am a sucker when it comes to cinnamon rolls.  I LOVE to make them from scratch and I LOVE to eat them too.  If there is cream cheese frosting on them are even more irresistible!  BUT now I think I might have a new love that is even easier to make than cinnamon rolls, CINNAMON ROLL CAKE!

I love Pinterest like many of you do too and I am sure you have a few a lot recipes saved on one of your boards like I do.  One of them that I have on my “Things we need to Cook!” board is for this cinnamon roll cake.  I made this cake yesterday for a monthly international ladies club coffee morning because if I made it for here at the house I would end up eating 1/2 of it myself!!  Wouldn’t you if the cake looked like this?

All I can say is AMAZING!!!  This cake was AMAZING!!  All the ladies fell in love with the cake like I did.  The great thing about this recipe it took me less than 5 minutes and it was in the oven and the best part it that you can get the ingredients anywhere in the world that you might be living!!

Here is the recipe…….

3 c. flour
1/4 tsp.salt
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Mix everything together except for the butter. Slowly stir in the melted butter and pour into a greased 9×13 pan. For the topping, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350  F or 175 C for 28-32 minutes.

2 c. powdered sugar
5 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
While warm drizzle the glaze over the cake.

So a big THANK YOU goes out to Cookinupnorth blog for post this wonderful recipe!

So now comes the fun part!  Add your favorite Pinterest recipe to the Linky below to give me more ideas of what I should cook next.
