A Visit to…Ceramika Artystyczna, Boleslawiec, Poland

Hi my name is Kelley and I am a Polish pottery addict!  I am not going to lie…I LOVE Polish pottery.  I fell in love with it even before moving here to Poland.

One of the stores that is always on the top of my priority list when I go to Boleslawiec is Ceramika Artystyczna.  Why?  They have AMAZING patterns as well as prices.

I have been to this factory store several times before and I don’t think I have ever been there when they don’t have a selection.  They always have a great selection to choose from.

Let’s go shopping  in Artystyczna!

They don't have the pottery sorted by pattern but by the same type. So you if you are looking for a certain pattern be prepared to dig!

I love these but a clue if I would ever use them.

Is this not beautiful? If you are looking for unique Unikat piece...this is the place!

Apple bakers

Guess what the girls teachers got for end of the school year gifts? Apple bakers with some home-made goodies inside.

I told you they have truly unique patterns.

I always take a picture of my purchase so I can remember what I bought before they box up my purchase. By store #3 I forget what I purchase in other from the other previous store. Here are a few of pieces that I bought at my last trip there.

Where is the discount stuff?  It all over in this store.  They mix it all together, so you are going to have to dig for your bargains.

Parking is a bit of an issue for this place especially on the weekends.  Directly in front of the store is 3 or 4 spaces, so the best bet is to park across the street and walk over or to park at the “White Picket Fence” store and walk over.

They take US dollars and Euros but change is given in Zlotys.  They also take credit cards!!!

They are open Monday-Friday from 09:00-17:00 and Saturday from 08:00-14:00.   Notice they are not open on Sundays and close early on Saturdays!!

Their address is Kosciuszki 23, Boleslawiec

Have you been to Ceramika Artystyczna?  What tips or inside secrets do you have?
