Yesterday’s Walk

Yesterday, my dear friend Karolina and I went out to her country property just a bit north of Bydgoszcz to go get some walnuts from her tree. I brought the dog along and then we ran into her neighbor and we decided to take her dog and my dog for a quick walk and this what we saw!

AMAZING views that made me a bit some sick for North Dakota.

Next week we are going mushroom picking together so that way I know which the safe ones to eat and which ones will like my stomach!

Where is your favorite place to go for walk?

love kelley

In Bydgoszcz: Old Bydgoszcz Channel and Myślecinek definately. Also walks by the Brda River on Sundays are great too.

Good place for mushrooms are woods near Koronowo (my trip with my parents there for mushrooms on Oct 7th: the one ) and right behind Bydgoszcz
also both sides of Route 10 (directions from Rondo Jagiellonów to there

Btw. nice article about you in today’s Gazeta, Bydgoszcz edition!

I wrote yesterday about the scarves but I dunno if you’ve seen that comment so I’ll repeat just in case

“I had to wait a bit for them to check their storage but I finally got an answer today and they have scarves so you can get 4 for all of you. The price is 20zł per each.
Let me know if you want them, I’ll get them and we could arrange a meeting or you can recieve them on the match against Budowlani Łódź on Nov, 3rd

    All the best!

Ohhh I miss mushroom picking so much! My parents keep teasing me with the photos of the ones they found. Can you go mushroom picking in the USA? Any good places you’ve ever heard of? (I just might make that one of the factors when deciding where to apply for grad school ;)) )

oh that’s a shame. My husband’s first mushroom picking was also in Poland and he was surprised that we can just go to the forest and pick up food lol he says in the US they’d probably think you’re looking for magic mushrooms and arrest you :P

Amazing photos and beautifull mushrooms… that’s what I call – fruits and the charm of the autumn :). And really nice dog! He is so cheerful and feisty :). What’s his name :)?
